This is my fifth farm, best harvest was four times . Got them for friends and family. They all love them.
The mushrooms started to brown and stink, right after a few mushrooms started to grow. We harvested a handful of mushrooms and the rest all went bad/stinky.
The mushrooms began to sprout within a week. The first harvest was stir fried and the second was stewed. They were delicious. Much better than the dried shiitake mushrooms you purchase in the stores. Growing the mushrooms isn’t difficult and it is a lot of fun.

The first crop was great, now waiting to see a second crop.
It was a-mazing how fast the kit started working and how soon I was able to harvest about 1.5 lbs of beautiful caps. They went from knobs to "pick-me!" In a few days. Now it's resting and will hopefully be making a second flush in the new year.

I have not noticed any significant growth on my Shiitake mushrooms
I ordered two. They both fruited quickly and readily. I harvested my first mushroom within a week of getting the kit. One kit did start growing green mold however and some of the mushrooms were black at the bottom.

Delicious and easy to follow instructions
OMG the biggest and most delicious Shitake I ever saw. We used a trick they do in Japan and put the bag, mostly covered, outside during a thunderstorm and the caps grew exponentially larger by the next day.
