Far West Fungi’s family run farm has been serving the Bay Area’s high end restaurants and gourmet specialty grocers since 1982. We cultivate 14 varieties of certified organic mushrooms on our farm in Moss Landing.

 

The journey so far

Our fresh products are hand-selected for highest quality, and shipped from South San Francisco in 5lb, 10lb box, and in 6oz clamshell boxes.

All of our mushroom varieties are also available in dried form, which we process in-house at our warehouse in South San Francisco.

 

Our offering

Far West Fungi works with professional foragers to offer over 20 varieties of wild foraged mushrooms, which rotate on a seasonal basis. We also source wild or rare produce items, such as fresh wasabi, wild ramps, fiddlehead ferns, sea beans, and finger limes.

Our global truffle connections allow us to import up to 8 varieties of fresh truffles, including Perigords and White Albas from Italy, which also rotate seasonally. 

 

 

Jerky Bags (2oz)

At Far West Fungi we make our jerky in small batches by hand in the Far West Fungi kitchen, from organic mushrooms grown on our farm. It has a great meaty texture and just enough peppery spice.

Fruiting Body Tinctures (1oz)

Each of these small batch tinctures are produces in an artisanal Bay Area herbal pharmacy, using methods developed from both proven science, and hundreds of years of collective naturopathic wisdom. Each batch is tested through certified labs to ensure the highest purity and quality possible
