A special blend of red African rooibos tea, vanilla, cacao nibs, and our Far West farmed Certified Organic Reishi. Reishi has long been used as a tonic to help increase energy, improve digestion and sleep, strengthen resistance to disease, and regulate the immune system. It is widely used to improve the cardiovascular system, lower blood lipids, and treat coronary heart disease. Chinese and Japanese doctors routinely prescribe Reishi for memory loss, insomnia, hyperlipidemia, angina, chronic bronchitis, and a whole range of degenerative diseases of the elderly, including disorders associated with senility.
Instructions for Brewing:
¼ Cup of Reishi Tea
8 - 12 cups of water
Stir into a crockpot or medium-sized saucepot. In crockpot, simmer on low setting for at least 2 hours, or ideally overnight, adding more water as needed. In saucepot, simmer on low heat on a back burner of the stove for a minimum of 2 hours. For best results, cook up to 4 hours. Strain out mushroom solids and discard (or may be used to reinfuse once more for weaker results), then store tea in glass jar(s) in refrigerator up to 1 week. It can be frozen up to 6 months. For best results, drink 1 chilled pint per day.
