Turkey Tail is a polypore mushroom commonly found in the wild throughout the world. It has a long history of traditional use in various indigenous practices and is increasingly studied in modern research settings for its naturally occurring compounds.
Our turkey tail mushrooms are cultivated on our farm and carefully dried in-house to ensure peak quality and freshness.
Instructions for Brewing:
- ¼ Cup of Turkey Tail
- 8 - 12 cups of water
Stir into a crockpot or medium-sized saucepot. In crockpot, simmer on low setting for at least 2 hours, or ideally overnight, adding more water as needed. In saucepot, simmer on low heat on the back burner of the stove for a minimum of 2 hours. For best results, cook up to 4 hours. Strain out mushroom solids and discard (or may be used to reinfuse once more for weaker results), then store tea in a glass jar(s) in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Can be frozen for up to 6 months. For best results, drink 1 chilled pint per day.
